The Pals animations were created in collaboration with the Disney Publishing Learning team and are part of a larger asset pool for licensing partners. These cute animations are based on the Disney Baby's art style, and feature characters from Pixar's Cars, Walt Disney Animation Studio's Zootopia and Mickey & Friends.
I enjoyed providing art direction for these 3D animated characters, and for the last rounds of production I passed the baton over to a 3D artist on my team as a learning opportunity. It was a great opportunity to mentor and allow my direct report to stretch their skills at reviewing and providing feedback to our vendor partner. As a result the animations turned out great, we received approval from our studio partners, and the Learning team leadership was very pleased.
